ETKS wins acquittal of all felonies in 11 count kidnapping/rape/other sex offense indictment

Partners Bill Easton and Brian Shiffrin obtain reversal of Assault 1 conviction and new trial

On September 28, 2018, the Appellate Division, Fourth Department reversed the Assault in the First Degree conviction of ETKS client Kenneth Farley, and ordered that he be given a new trial on the grounds that the trial court erred in denying defendant’s challenge for cause to a prospective juror.  Mr Farley was represented by Bill Easton at trial and by Bill Easton and Brian Shiffrin on appeal.  You can read the full decision...
