ETKS Partner Brian Shiffrin was interviewed by The Buffalo News regarding his Appellate Court victory in which he secured a new trial for Joachim Sylvester, a Niagara Falls man who was convicted of Attempted Murder. Brian was quoted as saying “The DA brought in four witnesses for an uncharged crime to make it look like this was a dangerous guy who had to be gotten off the street.” Shiffrin further stated that there was no evidence connecting Sylvester to the uncharged shooting.
